Infosys (NYSE: INFY) and Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) have expanded their collaboration to build out Truist's Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India, according to a press release from Infosys.
As part of the expanded arrangement, Truist is consolidating capabilities previously delivered through multiple suppliers in India into a unified operating model supported by Infosys. The two companies said they plan to celebrate the onboarding of more than 1,000 colleagues at the GCC later in October 2026.
Infosys will support the build-out, scaling, and transition of the center, integrating AI, technology, data, and operations into a single delivery framework. Truist said the GCC is intended to reduce third-party dependency and develop technology talent across engineering, data, and operations functions.
Steve Hagerman, Chief Information Officer at Truist, said, "Our Global Capability Center in India is a strategic investment in Truist's future. This center will play a critical role in helping Truist build and scale strategic capabilities through a more integrated operating model improving client experience and empowering teammates."
Dennis Gada, EVP and Global Head of Banking and Financial Services at Infosys, said the company will leverage its Infosys Topaz platform and a Build, Operate and Transfer model to help Truist "build a resilient, scalable digital core."
Truist, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, reported total assets of $556 billion as of June 30, 2026, and is classified as a top-10 U.S. commercial bank.
