Elbit Systems wins $235M rocket artillery deal with European country
Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT, TASE: ESLT) has been awarded a $235 million contract to supply EXTRA-MR rockets and PULS rocket artillery systems to an unidentified European country, according to a press release from the Israel-based defense company.
The contract was structured as a government-to-government agreement between the Israel Ministry of Defense and the customer country's Ministry of Defense, and will be performed over three years.
Under the contract, Elbit Systems will deliver the medium-range variant of its EXTRA supersonic rocket system, PULS launchers, additional rocket-artillery-related platforms, and integrated logistics support. The EXTRA-MR is a precision-guided rocket munition with a stated range of up to 80 km.
Bezhalel Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, said the contract "reflects the growing international demand for our advanced rocket and launcher capabilities" and noted that PULS systems have been selected by customers including European and NATO member states.
Elbit Systems reported $2.29 billion in revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2026, and an order backlog of $32.0 billion as of that date.
