Aurora Mobile Limited (NASDAQ: JG) announced a partnership with Prinx Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Co., Ltd. to integrate JPush, its push notification solution, into Prinx Chengshan's mobile platform, according to a company press release.
Prinx Chengshan operates a B2B offline distribution network across China, using its mobile platform to deliver logistics updates and policy notifications to distributors and automotive repair shops. The integration addresses two technical challenges common in China's mobile ecosystem: Android device fragmentation and background app restrictions that can block notifications when apps are inactive.
JPush supports multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, HarmonyOS, QuickApp, and Web, through a unified SDK. It also integrates push channels from major device manufacturers including Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Meizu, and ASUS, alongside FCM and APNs. The solution uses intelligent routing to deliver high-priority notifications through system-level channels even when an app is not active.
The integration also enables Prinx Chengshan to send targeted notifications to specific user groups. For example, shops servicing heavy-duty trucks can receive commercial tire maintenance updates, while shops focused on new energy vehicles can receive notifications about low-noise tire availability.
