JetBlue launches daily Fort Lauderdale–Cali nonstop route

October 15, 2026 1:00 PM EDT

JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) has launched daily nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport (CLO) in Cali, Colombia, bringing the airline's total Colombian destinations to four.

Cali joins Cartagena, Medellín, and Barranquilla, the last of which JetBlue began serving from Fort Lauderdale earlier in the same month, according to a company statement.

The Fort Lauderdale–Cali route operates once daily, with the outbound flight departing at 10:05 a.m. and arriving at 12:52 p.m. local time. The return flight departs Cali at 2:10 p.m. and arrives in Fort Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. JetBlue will operate the route using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of revenue, network and enterprise planning at JetBlue, said the addition of Cali reflects the airline's "continued commitment to the country and our focus on growing in markets where we see strong customer demand and opportunities to offer greater choice and competition."

Latin America and the Caribbean account for approximately one-third of JetBlue's overall capacity. The airline states it now offers more flights and nonstop destinations from FLL than any other carrier. Since December 2025, JetBlue has added 12 nonstop destinations from Fort Lauderdale and increased daily departures by more than 75% compared with the same period the prior year.

JetBlue expects to operate more than 150 daily departures from Fort Lauderdale during peak travel periods this winter. Additional new routes from FLL to Columbus, Indianapolis, and San Diego are planned for November.

To mark the launch, one-way introductory fares are available starting at $139 in Main cabin and $239 in EvenMore, valid for Tuesday and Wednesday travel between January 19 and March 9, 2027, with booking required by October 16, 2026.
