Better Home & Finance Holding Company (NASDAQ: BETR) announced that Linda Yaccarino, former chief executive officer of X, has joined its board as an independent director, effective October 15, 2026.
Yaccarino is described as the first director appointed under the company's Better 2.0 initiative. According to a press release, her stated priorities will include expanding use of Better's Tinman AI platform, cost discipline, and shareholder value.
"Better is making life's largest financial decision for an American family more affordable, more accessible, and more transparent with AI. I am excited to be a part of something so important," Yaccarino said.
Before joining X, Yaccarino served as chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal for more than a decade, where she oversaw nearly $10 billion in annual advertising revenue. She began her career at Turner, where she spent two decades and rose to executive vice president and chief operating officer of advertising sales, marketing, and acquisitions.
"Linda's extensive experience in enterprise partnerships, advertising and consumer behavior serves Better very well," said Vishal Garg, Better's founder and head of product, platform and innovation.
Better states it has funded over $110 billion in total loan volume since inception and operates across all 50 U.S. states.
