Nomad Power Solutions reports $30M in orders, plans capacity expansion
Nomad Power Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: NMAD) announced it has received more than $30 million in customer orders through 2026, backed by non-refundable deposits totaling approximately $14 million, according to a company press release.
The Boca Raton, Fla.-based provider of transportable battery energy storage systems said it plans to expand its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities to meet anticipated demand through 2027. The company operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Nomad Transportable Power Systems.
John Traviglini, President of Nomad Transportable Power Solutions, said the company's sales team has identified more than $400 million in potential customer opportunities beyond its committed orders, with at least six new qualified opportunities identified each week.
The company said it is also developing next-generation transportable battery systems with planned capacities of 4 MWh and 8 MWh, expanding on its existing 1 MW / 2 MWh Traveler model. Nomad expects to introduce the larger systems in 2027.
Nomad said it is pursuing commercial models including direct equipment sales, rentals, and Energy-as-a-Service agreements, and is evaluating financing partnerships to offer customers leasing and other structures.
The company reported growing international interest from government entities and utilities in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. Nomad claims to be among a limited number of providers offering a UL 9540-certified, multi-megawatt-hour transportable battery storage system with demonstrated field deployment alongside a U.S. utility.
