Leonardo DRS wins 10-year NASA SEWP VI government contract

October 14, 2026 4:00 PM EDT

Leonardo DRS, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRS) has been awarded a 10-year prime contract under NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) VI Program, allowing federal agencies to procure the company's products and services through October 31, 2036.

The government-wide acquisition contract extends DRS's position as a SEWP prime contractor, a role the company has held since 2015. The ordering period opens November 1, 2026, with the existing SEWP V contract continuing through April 30, 2027.

Federal agencies have procured more than $110 million in DRS products and services through SEWP V. NASA issued DRS an "Excellent" performance rating in January 2026. DRS currently lists 368 contract line items in its SEWP V catalog, covering products, parts, and services across multiple business units, which are expected to transition to the SEWP VI contract.

Recent task orders under the prior contract supported the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Army Communications-Electronics Command, the Defense Logistics Agency, and Foreign Military Sales programs.

SEWP VI covers information technology, computing, software, navigation, communications, and power technologies. The contract allows firm-fixed-price, labor-hour, time-and-materials, and other pricing arrangements through indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task orders. The program also introduces stand-alone services.

"This award recognizes a decade of proven performance, and directly benefits our current and future customers," said Denny Crumley, senior vice president and general manager of the DRS Land Electronics business unit. "This award preserves a rapid, low-cost procurement path for the next decade."
