Perfect Corp. (NYSE: PERF) has partnered with LIERAC, a pharmacy skincare brand owned by Laboratoire Native, to deploy an AI-powered skin diagnosis tool across eight European markets, according to a press release from the companies.
The tool, built on Perfect Corp.'s AI Skin Analysis API, is integrated into LIERAC's e-commerce websites in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Belgium, and Germany. Consumers upload a selfie to receive a skin score and assessments across seven aging concerns: moisture, dark circles, firmness, eye bags, wrinkles, radiance, and age spots. Results are emailed to users along with a personalized skincare protocol.
Perfect Corp. states its underlying technology analyzes up to 28 diagnostics across 16 skin concerns in real time, trained on more than 70,000 medical-grade images and validated with board-certified dermatologists.
"Through our AI Skin Analysis API, LIERAC can build accurate skin analysis directly into its own digital experience while keeping its brand identity and expertise at the center," said Alice Chang, founder and CEO of Perfect Corp.
Candice Llorens, Global Brands President of Laboratoire Native, said the tool delivers personalized guidance "at the very moment consumers are looking to better choose the care that matches their skin needs."
LIERAC was founded in 1975 and describes itself as a French botanical cosmeceutical brand combining botanical ingredients with cosmetic science.
