Danaher Corporation (NYSE: DHR) announced a collaboration with Nvidia to integrate AI and accelerated computing technologies into scientific instruments and laboratory workflows, according to a company press release dated Oct. 14, 2026.
The companies plan to combine Danaher's scientific instrumentation, automation technologies, and laboratory workflow software with Nvidia's accelerated computing tools, including DGX Spark edge computing, RAPIDS data processing, and BioNeMo Open Models. Initial efforts will focus on a select group of priority instruments, with the possibility of expanding to a broader portfolio.
The collaboration also explores the use of Nvidia Cosmos world models and Omniverse Digital Twins to support laboratory workflows and instrument intelligence.
"AI is reshaping how science is conducted," said Julie Sawyer Montgomery, President and Chief Executive Officer of Danaher. "We are collaborating around a shared vision for more connected, adaptive and accessible innovation, helping researchers solve consequential challenges and translate discovery into human impact."
Kimberly Powell, Vice President of Healthcare at Nvidia, said the collaboration aims to connect AI models with instruments and experimental data, with the goal of compressing research timelines.
Danaher stated the effort is intended to reduce the time required to move from AI-generated predictions to experimental evidence, while preserving customer choice in models, standards, and technology providers. No financial terms of the collaboration were disclosed.
