Solidion Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: STI) reaffirmed its focus on energy storage for AI data centers, centered on its PEAK Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system, according to a company press release dated Oct. 14, 2026.
The Dallas-based company said its PEAK Series uses a proprietary 5500 silicon-carbon anode cell. Based on company testing, the system is designed to reduce UPS floor space by up to 30% and last up to three times longer than conventional backup systems, which the company said could reduce replacement cycles and maintenance demands.
Solidion said it holds a portfolio of more than 385 patents covering silicon anodes, graphene, and next-generation battery chemistries. The company also operates a pilot production facility in Dayton, Ohio.
"Our focus is on translating our technology into practical commercial solutions that address real customer demand. We are not betting on which chips win; we are focused on supplying something every data center needs," said Jaymes Winters, Chairman and CEO of Solidion.
The company said it intends to pursue opportunities to apply its battery technologies directly to end users. No commercial contracts or revenue figures were disclosed in the announcement.
