TriNet (NYSE: TNET) announced a set of phased platform updates on Oct. 13, 2026, adding leave management, recruiting, and business spending capabilities to its human resources software for small and medium-size businesses.
The company is rolling out TriNet Leave, powered by Cocoon, which follows TriNet's earlier acquisition of Cocoon. The product connects leave management to the TriNet platform and is designed to help employers handle leave requests, compliance tracking, and return-to-work processes in a single workflow.
Two additional products are scheduled for release in early January. TriNet Recruit, powered by JazzHR, will provide an applicant tracking experience covering job posting, candidate organization, hiring collaboration, offer extension, and onboarding. TriNet Spend will connect employee, payroll, and expense data through an integrated technology partnership, with automated workflows and payroll-connected reimbursements.
TriNet also announced expanded AI capabilities, currently available, including voice-enabled mobile experiences and the ability for administrators to query workforce data within the platform's Reports and Analytics section.
"Our customers don't think about HR in silos, and their technology shouldn't work that way either," said Lisa Reeves, Chief Product Officer at TriNet.
