L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) and Divergent Technologies, Inc. have signed a teaming agreement to scale production of munitions, according to a press release from the two companies.
The agreement will initially focus on applying Divergent's additive manufacturing processes to L3Harris' Wolf Pack family of munitions, which includes the Red Wolf and Green Wolf systems. Both are described as part of L3Harris' launched effects and modular vehicles portfolio, designed for long-range precision strike and non-kinetic capabilities.
Quinlan Lyte, President of Advanced Effects and Missile Solutions at L3Harris, said the companies plan to explore collaboration to increase production of existing systems and accelerate design development of future product offerings. Lukas Czinger, CEO and Co-Founder of Divergent, said the partnership would apply Divergent's manufacturing platform, known as DAPS, to current production programs while identifying opportunities across future aerospace and defense systems.
L3Harris stated its launched effects portfolio has completed 60 flight demonstrations of unmanned air vehicles, with launches conducted from fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and ground-based platforms.
Divergent, established in 2014, operates multiple factories and provides design, manufacturing, and assembly services across aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors.
