Cyabra forms national security advisory council led by Pompeo

October 13, 2026 9:15 AM EDT

Cyabra, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYAB), an AI-powered narrative intelligence company, announced the formation of a National Security Advisory Council chaired by Michael R. Pompeo, the company's board member and former U.S. Secretary of State.

The advisory council, which will serve in a non-management, non-board capacity, also includes Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mary F. O'Brien, former Chief Information Officer for the Joint Staff and former Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects Operations for the U.S. Air Force; Yigal Unna, former Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate; and Stephen Rodriguez, founder of One Defense and a defense venture investor at DCVC.

According to the company, the council will provide strategic guidance as Cyabra pursues expansion in U.S. and allied national security markets, advances federal procurement efforts, and develops AI solutions aimed at countering foreign influence operations and synthetic media threats.

The announcement follows Cyabra's selection as an awardee on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Specialized Open-Source Intelligence Tools five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract, and its inclusion in U.S. Special Operations Command's SOF RACER consortium for rapid capability fielding.

"Defense and intelligence teams need to understand when the information environment is being deliberately manipulated, how that activity is spreading, and what it means for their mission," said Lt. Gen. (Ret.) O'Brien in a statement accompanying the announcement.

Dan Brahmy, co-founder and chief executive officer of Cyabra, said the council would provide strategic guidance as the company scales its platform to serve national security organizations and defense agencies.
