Elgato launches Wave Go, a $99.99 wireless mic for mobile creators

October 13, 2026 9:04 AM EDT

Corsair (NASDAQ: CRSR) brand Elgato has introduced the Wave Go, its first wireless microphone, designed for mobile recording. The product functions as both a clip-on microphone and a handheld interview mic within a single portable system.

The Wave Go transmitter weighs 7 grams and attaches magnetically to clothing. It connects to a smartphone via a USB-C receiver and switches between clip-on and handheld recording modes using an included Smart Handle. The receiver supports pass-through phone charging during recording.

The system includes automatic audio processing features: EQ Shift selects a sound profile based on recording mode, while Auto Gain, a limiter, and a low-cut filter manage voice levels and background noise. A button on the receiver toggles noise cancellation.

The transmitter provides up to 8 hours of battery life per charge. The Smart Handle stores up to five additional full charges, bringing total runtime to a claimed 48 hours. A 10-minute charge provides approximately one hour of use.

Wave Go integrates with Elgato's existing Wave Link software and Stream Deck controls. The product is priced at $99.99 and includes the transmitter, receiver, Smart Handle, carrying case, magnetic mounts, windscreens, and a charging cable. A second transmitter is available for $29.99, or $14.99 when purchased alongside Wave Go directly from Elgato.

The product is available directly in more than 40 countries, with availability through Corsair's authorized retail network to follow.

"More content is being filmed on phones today than ever before, in more places and in ways that didn't exist a few years ago," said Julian Fest, SVP and General Manager of Elgato. "Wave Go was built for that world."
