Sagtec Global renames Malaysian subsidiary to CLAI Tech Sdn. Bhd.

October 13, 2026 9:00 AM EDT

Sagtec Global Limited (Nasdaq: SAGT) announced that its wholly owned Malaysian subsidiary, formerly known as CL Technologies (International) Sdn. Bhd., has completed a corporate name change to CLAI Tech Sdn. Bhd.

According to a press release, the name change was completed following corporate and regulatory procedures in Malaysia. The change does not affect the subsidiary's ownership, management, existing contractual obligations, or business operations. All agreements entered into under the former name remain valid.

The renamed subsidiary follows the company's introduction of CLAi 1.0, an internally developed AI platform that includes conversational assistance, software coding support, image creation, video generation, data analysis, and business process automation.

Sagtec Global said it intends to integrate CLAi's capabilities into its existing products, including its HALO AI-powered point-of-sale and human resources management systems, as well as across data management, cloud infrastructure, social media management, and enterprise software solutions.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ng Chen Lok stated: "The successful change of our subsidiary's name to CLAI Tech Sdn. Bhd. represents more than a corporate rebranding. It reflects the strategic direction that we have established for the next phase of the Group's development."

Sagtec Global said CLAI is expected to serve as a central platform for AI research, software development, product integration, and commercialization. The company indicated plans to generate recurring revenue through platform subscriptions, enterprise licensing, software customization, system integration, cloud services, and technical support.

Sagtec Global Limited will continue to operate under its existing corporate name, with shares trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker symbol SAGT.
