Abacus Global Management (NYSE: ABX) has announced a partnership with Retirable Inc., a retirement planning platform, that will connect Abacus clients with Retirable's licensed fiduciary advisors following the completion of their policy decisions.
Under the arrangement, Abacus and its insurance affiliates will introduce clients to Retirable advisors through warm transfers and scheduled introductions. Abacus will also integrate its AI-powered lifespan modeling tool, Abacus LifeARC™, into the Retirable platform.
Abacus LifeARC™ is described as built on 20 years of proprietary data and generates statistical lifespan projections. The company notes these projections are not individual medical assessments and should not be treated as definitive statements of any person's lifespan. Retirable advisors will use the projections alongside other planning inputs to inform retirement income and legacy planning.
"Everyone planning for retirement wants to know how long their savings need to last," said Jay Jackson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Abacus. "Abacus LifeARC™, our intelligence layer, will give those advisors a personalized view of the answer, and bring it to a much broader set of households."
Tyler End, CEO and co-founder of Retirable, said integrating LifeARC™ into the planning process gives advisors a tool to help clients consider how long their money needs to last and what they want to leave behind.
Retirable, founded in 2019 and headquartered in New York, reports more than $175 million in assets under management. The company is backed by Nationwide Ventures, Western & Southern Financial Group, Vestigo Ventures, and Primary Venture Partners.
