Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZBH) and Think Surgical, Inc. have agreed to a multi-year extension of their Limited Exclusive Distribution and Supply Agreement, the companies announced Oct. 13, 2026.
Under the extended agreement, Zimmer Biomet will continue to distribute an exclusive version of Think Surgical's wireless, handheld TMINI Miniature Robotic System. The exclusive version of the TMINI System is compatible with Zimmer Biomet's Persona Knee System for total knee arthroplasty.
Think Surgical CEO Stuart Simpson said the extension "confirms the value the TMINI System has been providing to Zimmer Biomet's customers and their patients."
Brad Kessler, President of Americas Robotics, Technology and Data for Zimmer Biomet, said the TMINI System "addresses the needs of our customers who want a wireless, handheld robotic system for use with the Persona Knee System," adding that the company plans to "expand access for surgeons and patients across the US."
Think Surgical is a privately held, U.S.-based developer of orthopedic robotic systems. Its TMINI platform is described as an open system that supports implant brands from multiple manufacturers. The customized version distributed by Zimmer Biomet integrates Zimmer Biomet technology specifically for knee replacement procedures.
