Shopify Inc shares rose 3.6% in morning trading Monday after Cantor Fitzgerald raised its price target on the stock to $158 from $145 while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The stock climbed as high as $179.49 during the session, nearing its 52-week high of $182.19.
Piper Sandler also reaffirmed its positive stance on the stock, pointing to growth in artificial intelligence demand. The firm's channel checks showed that merchant migrations to Shopify's platform have picked up speed as autonomous shopping tools become more common.
Agentic commerce transactions are growing at about twice the rate of standard large language model traffic and producing higher average order values, according to the research.
Shopify is scheduled to report its third-quarter 2026 earnings on November 3.
