Quantum Corporation CFO terminated, replaced by chief accounting officer

Quantum Corporation (NASDAQ: QMCO) terminated William H. White as Chief Financial Officer and Principal Financial Officer on October 9, 2026, effective immediately.

Following the termination, Hiral A. Patel, the company's Chief Accounting Officer and Principal Accounting Officer, was appointed Principal Financial Officer on the same date. Patel, 38, has held the Chief Accounting Officer role at Quantum since September 1, 2026.

Before joining Quantum, Patel served as Chief Accounting Officer at Pep Boys from October 2025 to June 2026, and as Vice President, Controller at IKEA Retail from March 2024 to October 2025. She previously held senior accounting roles at VeriFone Systems Inc. from September 2020 to March 2024, and served as Assurance Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP from October 2011 to August 2020. Patel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

The company stated it does not expect disruptions to current operations as a result of the termination, and said it expects to timely file its quarterly report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2026.

Quantum also disclosed that it expects to meet or exceed its previously issued guidance for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2026, though the company noted it is early in its financial closing process and the expectation remains subject to completion of financial closing procedures and review by its independent registered public accounting firm.
