Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE) announced a price increase for select polyamide products sold in the Americas, effective on all shipments on or after Oct. 19, 2026, or as contracts otherwise allow.
According to the company's statement, PA6 products — including brands such as Zytel, Frianyl, Celanyl, Minlon, CoolPoly, and Ecomid — will increase by $0.44/kg ($0.20/lb). PA66 products under the same brand families will increase by $0.33/kg ($0.15/lb). Individual grades may be subject to higher increases than those specified.
