Mercury Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRCY) has expanded its Phoenix production facility, adding 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its existing campus, according to a company press release.
The Phoenix campus is Mercury Systems' largest manufacturing center, currently employing more than 400 people. The expansion is expected to create more than 50 jobs over the next year. Operations in the new building began in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026.
The facility manufactures printed circuit board assemblies, memory solutions, space drives, and advanced packaging technologies. The added space is intended to increase production capacity for several programs, including the company's Common Processing Architecture programs.
Tod Brindlinger, Mercury's Senior Vice President of Operations, said the company is expanding to meet customer demand and noted that fiscal year 2026 ended with "record bookings and backlog" that the expanded facility is meant to support.
Mercury Systems is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and focuses on aerospace and defense electronics.
