Anaconda and Intel mark 500M downloads of optimized AI packages
Anaconda, Inc. and Intel have announced an expansion of their collaboration to make Intel-optimized software more accessible to developers through the conda ecosystem, according to a press release from Anaconda.
The companies reported a milestone of more than 500 million downloads of Intel-optimized artificial intelligence, machine learning, and Python packages.
The expanded collaboration is focused on making Intel-optimized software easier for developers to access, install, and update.
"We've worked with Intel for many years to help unlock the power of Intel's hardware for open source AI, ML, and Python applications, and this milestone reflects the trust developers place in that work," said Seth Clark, VP Product for AI at Anaconda.
Anaconda said additional details regarding the collaboration will follow.
