Pasqal (Nasdaq: PSQL), a neutral-atom quantum computing company, announced the availability of an AI-assisted workflow on Pasqal Cloud that is designed to reduce the engineering effort required to run experiments on quantum processing units (QPUs).
According to a company statement, the workflow automates a sequence of steps: extracting or formalizing a research protocol, translating it into a hardware-ready quantum job, validating it through emulation, submitting it to a QPU via the cloud, and processing results into scientific observables. The company says the tool is intended to lower the barrier between a scientific idea and its execution on hardware, without removing the researcher from key scientific decisions.
"The bottleneck in quantum computing is shifting," said Wasiq Bokhari, CEO of Pasqal. "The engineering work that once demanded a researcher's attention can increasingly be automated, allowing researchers to focus more fully on the science."
The workflow is available as a plugin for agentic coding environments including Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex. Experiments can be run on three Pasqal Cloud QPUs accessible to external users: Ruby, operated by GENCI at CEA in France; FC1, located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada; and SA1, located in Saudi Arabia.
Paris-based Pasqal, founded in 2019, offers quantum computing systems on-premises and through the cloud. Its customers include Saudi Aramco, Crédit Agricole CIB, and LG Electronics. The company also holds partnerships with Nvidia and IBM through the IBM Quantum Network.
