Hims & Hers names former Rivian controller as chief accounting officer

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (NYSE: HIMS) has appointed Jon Franklin as Chief Accounting Officer, according to a company statement. Franklin will report to Chief Financial Officer Yemi Okupe and oversee the company's accounting organization.

Franklin joins from Rivian, where he served as Vice President and Corporate Controller, managing technical accounting, corporate accounting, and financial reporting. Before Rivian, he spent more than 15 years in PwC's Assurance division, conducting audits for Fortune 500 multinational organizations and emerging companies across consumer products, technology, and financial services.

Franklin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan and is a Certified Public Accountant in Michigan.

Okupe commented on the appointment: "Jon has led accounting teams through rapid transformation, working with a range of companies in complex, fast-moving environments. He brings breadth and deep technical expertise to Hims & Hers."

Franklin succeeds Irene Becklund, who announced her departure in July after seven years with the company. Becklund will serve as an advisor during the transition.
