IQVIA (NYSE: IQV) introduced IQVIA Explorer, a commercial intelligence tool for life sciences companies, at its TechIQ 2026 conference.
According to a company press release, the tool is designed to convert analytics projects into an ongoing intelligence capability by combining IQVIA data, analytical methods and workflows to deliver near real-time outputs in response to business questions.
The company states the tool can reduce certain analyses that previously took several weeks to under 15 minutes. Specific use cases cited include tracking brand share through treatment starts, switching and discontinuation data; identifying commercial resource allocation opportunities in under one hour compared to two to three weeks; and re-running adjusted analyses in four minutes to two hours rather than restarting multi-week projects.
"In a market defined by complexity, volatility and margin compression, improving productivity requires commercial teams to respond faster to change, execute more efficiently and deliver stronger business outcomes," said Pete Groves, EVP of AI and Technology Solutions at IQVIA. "Our customers trust IQVIA's data foundation and advanced analytical capabilities to understand performance today and model what may happen tomorrow. IQVIA Explorer does both, in a matter of minutes."
IQVIA, headquartered in Research Triangle Park, N.C., employs approximately 94,000 people across more than 100 countries.
