Lattice Semiconductor and Arm collaborate on AI data center platform

October 7, 2026 4:00 PM EDT

Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) announced a collaboration with Arm to integrate Lattice FPGAs and AMI firmware with Arm AGI CPU server platforms, targeting secure control and management for AI data center infrastructure.

In the joint configuration, Lattice FPGAs function as companion chips alongside the CPU and baseboard management controller, while AMI firmware handles platform boot and management. The setup also uses the LVDS Tunneling Protocol and Interface (LTPI) to enable Open Compute Project-compliant connectivity between the Host Processor Module and Datacenter Secure Control Module.

"AI infrastructure is evolving rapidly, creating greater demand for secure, interoperable control and management at every level of the system," said Mamta Gupta, VP of Business Development, Compute & Communications, at Lattice Semiconductor.

"Scaling AI infrastructure requires an ecosystem working across compute, connectivity, management, and security," said Eddie Ramirez, Vice President of Go-to-Market, Cloud AI, at Arm. "By working with Lattice to integrate secure management and control, we're expanding the ecosystem around Arm AGI CPU and giving customers more flexibility to build and deploy next-generation AI infrastructure."

The joint solution is scheduled to be demonstrated at OCP Global Summit 2026, taking place October 12–15 at the San Jose Convention Center, with Lattice exhibiting at Booth A53 and Arm at Booth C72.
