October 7, 2026 8:01 AM EDT

CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV) announced plans to enter the Indian market through a collaboration with AdaniConneX, a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX, to deploy 240 megawatts of data center capacity in Navi Mumbai.

The planned campus will be located at AdaniConneX's Taloja campus and will span three 80 MW buildings designed for high-density AI infrastructure, including direct liquid cooling for GPU data halls and a non-evaporative chilled water system. CoreWeave will be the sole tenant across the three buildings, with the option to expand by an additional 240 MW at the site.

CoreWeave plans to deploy the Nvidia Vera Rubin Platform at the facility. The first phase is expected to be available in mid-2028, with additional capacity coming online in subsequent phases.

As part of the expansion, CoreWeave said it intends to open a local office and hire staff in India. Sachin Jain, Chief Operating Officer of CoreWeave, said in a statement: "We are investing in the infrastructure, technology, and local presence needed to support that growth, bringing 240 megawatts of capacity, Nvidia Vera Rubin, and CoreWeave's expertise to customers building and scaling AI in India."

The India expansion follows CoreWeave's recent entry into Indonesia and adds to its existing presence across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. As of its earnings call on Aug. 11, 2026, CoreWeave reported approximately 4.2 gigawatts of contracted power.

AdaniConneX describes itself as a 50/50 joint venture founded with a goal of building a 1 gigawatt data center infrastructure platform in India. CoreWeave completed its public listing on Nasdaq in March 2025.
