Veon and Amdocs sign 10-year technology agreement for Eurasia

October 7, 2026 2:01 AM EDT

Veon Ltd. and Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX) have announced a 10-year strategic agreement under which Amdocs will manage and modernize Veon's core technology operations across its Eurasia markets, according to a press release from the companies.

Under the agreement, Amdocs will deploy its aOS platform, described as an agentic operating system built for telecommunications, to support Veon's IT operations. The deal is also intended to provide long-term cost predictability for Veon across those operations.

As part of the arrangement, Amdocs will utilize certain intellectual property rights from QazCode, a software and AI company within the Veon group that serves as the exclusive digital partner of Beeline Kazakhstan. QazCode's technology will be integrated into the Amdocs aOS platform.

Veon Chief Executive Officer Kaan Terzioğlu noted that digital and AI services account for approximately 27% of Veon's group revenue. "Adopting Amdocs' aOS capabilities is a natural next step in that journey," he said.

Anthony Goonetilleke, Group President of New Growth Horizons at Amdocs, said the agreement expands Amdocs' presence in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the broader Eurasia region.

Veon operates across five countries, serving more than 150 million connectivity customers and over 228 million digital customers. The company is listed on Nasdaq. Amdocs reported revenue of $4.53 billion in fiscal year 2025.
