SailPoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced updates to its identity security platform at its annual Navigate conference on Oct. 6, 2026, introducing new capabilities for its cloud-native Human Fabric product and releasing IdentityIQ 9.0, a major update to its on-premises solution.
For Human Fabric, SailPoint announced three additions: a re-platformed access certification engine designed to handle large-scale access reviews without record limits; an enhanced Separation of Duties engine that evaluates access conflicts in real time and blocks policy violations at the moment of request; and a conversational access request tool that allows users to submit access requests in natural language through chat applications.
IdentityIQ 9.0 targets customers with on-premises or hybrid deployments and includes granular, time-based access controls for roles and entitlements, a rebuilt technical foundation on modern application servers, and a refreshed user interface. SailPoint is also releasing an automated upgrade tool with the version that scans a customer's environment and automates portions of the manual upgrade process.
Chandra Gnanasambandam, EVP of Product and Chief Technology Officer at SailPoint, said: "Most vendors ask their customers to choose between a growth story or a stewardship story, but the reality of the modern enterprise is not that simple. Today, we are delivering on both fronts."
The announcements were made based on a press release statement from the company.
