GoldMining reports 400-metre gold-copper drill result in Colombia

October 6, 2026 6:31 AM EDT

GoldMining Inc. (NYSE American: GLDG) released initial assay results from its 2026 diamond core drilling program at the Yarumalito Project in Colombia's Mid Cauca gold-copper porphyry belt, according to a company statement.

Drill hole YAR-45 returned 399.9 metres at 0.45 grams per tonne gold equivalent (AuEq) — comprising 0.34 g/t gold, 0.09% copper and 1.21 g/t silver — from surface to the end of the hole. Higher-grade intervals within that intercept included 33.2 metres at 0.81 g/t AuEq from 10.3 metres depth, and 74.7 metres at 0.61 g/t AuEq from 136.5 metres depth.

The company said the results validated its three-dimensional geological model and confirmed that the P-1 porphyry intrusive suite hosts disseminated and vein stockwork mineralization that remains open along strike and at depth. True width is estimated at approximately 50% of the reported downhole interval lengths.

A total of four diamond drill holes totaling 1,218 metres were completed in the 2026 program. Assay results for the remaining three holes — YAR-46 through YAR-48 — are pending. GoldMining said results from all four holes are expected to be incorporated into an updated geological and mineral resource model.

The Yarumalito Project holds an existing inferred mineral resource of 66.3 million tonnes at 0.58 g/t gold and 0.09% copper, totaling approximately 1.23 million ounces of gold and 129 million pounds of copper, based on 50 historical drill holes completed between 2005 and 2013.

The project is located approximately 65 km south of Medellín and sits near Aris Mining's Marmato Mine and Collective Mining's Guayabales project. Gold equivalent calculations assumed metal prices of US$3,550 per ounce gold, US$5.00 per pound copper and US$50 per ounce silver, with metallurgical recoveries assumed at 100%.
