Investing.com -- Telos Corp (NASDAQ: TLS) shares rose over 7.5% in Monday trade after the company announced it secured a three-year, $13.5 million contract from the 16th Air Force to support U.S. Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems.
Under the contract, Telos will provide Xacta license maintenance, training and cyber services for mission-critical intelligence systems operating across the Air Force Intelligence Community. The award extends the company's existing support for AF ISR systems.
The Xacta platform automates cyber governance, risk and compliance processes, helping organizations accelerate security authorizations and maintain continuous compliance. Telos will combine the platform with cyber services and training expertise to support the Air Force Intelligence Community's security and operational readiness requirements.
"Protecting Air Force intelligence systems requires both proven technology and deep cyber expertise," said John B. Wood, chairman and CEO of Telos. "We're proud to continue supporting this mission with our Xacta platform and the experienced professionals who help customers maintain secure, compliant and mission-ready environments."
The contract represents continued business for Telos in the defense and intelligence sector, where the company provides cyber, cloud and enterprise security solutions.
