Truist Securities analyst Michael Ciarmoli lowered the price target on BWX Technologies (NYSE: BWXT) to $182.00 (from $202.00) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "We maintain our Hold rating and lower our PT to $182 (from $202) following BWXT's 2026 Investor Day in NYC. BWXT's thesis - "if it's nuclear, BWXT is there" resonates as the business has expanded across the full value chain for both national security and commercial power, giving it exposure to secular tailwinds in economic, national, and energy security. Management reiterated their 2026 guidance, while introducing their 2027 framework and the path to 2030 targets. We maintain our 2026 estimates, but update our 2027 estimates to account for the 2027 outlook. See below for takeaways from the event, updates on the Commercial and Government Operations segments, and drivers."
