Investing.com -- Insmed Inc (NASDAQ: INSM) shares fell 8% Monday after the company announced Chief Financial Officer Sara Bonstein will step down on October 30.
Bonstein will continue to serve as CFO until October 30 to ensure a smooth transition through the company's reporting of its third-quarter 2026 financial results and will participate in the earnings call on October 29. Insmed has commenced a search to identify the company's next CFO.
Bonstein served as CFO for nearly seven years, during which time Insmed raised more than $4.2 billion in capital. The company stated that Bonstein's transition is not related to any disagreement between her and the company on any matter relating to accounting practices, financial statements, internal controls, or operations.
Will Lewis, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Insmed, said the company is now well positioned to reach cash flow positivity next year with what it views as a clear path toward sustained top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
Bonstein stated that serving as Insmed's CFO has been a privilege of her career and that after considerable reflection, now is an ideal time for her to pursue her ambition for a broader leadership role.
The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 financial guidance of revenue in the range of $1.25 billion to $1.40 billion for BRINSUPRI and $450 million to $470 million for ARIKAYCE. Insmed will release its third-quarter 2026 financial results on October 29.
