Voyager Technologies (NYSE: VOYG) has been awarded a $22.4 million Other Transaction Agreement from the Strategic Capabilities Office of the Department of War for a research and development effort to prototype next-generation satellite deployment systems.

Under the agreement, Voyager will develop prototype, flight-ready small satellite dispensers designed to utilize unused payload capacity on space launches. The program's stated objective is to transition new technology and capability to the U.S. Space Force.

"This award reflects Voyager's confidence in our ability to move rapidly from concept to on-orbit capability," said Matt Magaña, president of Space, Defense & National Security at Voyager. "We're excited to work with the DoW on this R&D effort that has the goal of providing the Space Force new tools to put more capability on orbit faster, and without displacing primary mission objectives."

The agreement directly supports the Strategic Capabilities Office's mandate to deliver capabilities to combatant commanders. Voyager is based in Denver, Colorado.
