Cannara raises Curaleaf supply deal value to C$34 million
Cannara Biotech Inc. (TSX: LOVE, OTCQX: LOVFF) has amended its international supply agreement with Curaleaf International Limited, raising the potential aggregate contract value to approximately C$34 million over two years, up from C$21 million under the original agreement announced July 14, 2026.
The amended deal is based on committed supply volumes and the terms and conditions of the agreement. Cannabis flower supplied under the agreement will be dried and processed under EU-GMP conditions at Curaleaf's EU-GMP certified facility in Canada before distribution into international medical markets.
Cannara's Chief Operating Officer Niko Sosiak noted that 15 of the company's 24 grow rooms at its Valleyfield facility are currently active, with remaining capacity available to scale production. Curaleaf (TSX: CURA, OTCQX: CURLF) is also supporting Cannara's pursuit of EU-GMP certification for its Valleyfield processing center.
Cannara operates two facilities in Québec totaling over 1,600,000 square feet. The company said the expanded agreement builds on its Canadian growth strategy while extending its reach into international medical markets through Curaleaf's distribution network.
