Vertical Aerospace (NYSE: EVTL), an eVTOL aircraft developer headquartered in Bristol, UK, announced it received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange on September 9, 2026, stating the company is not in compliance with the NYSE's continued listing standard that requires a minimum average closing share price of $1.00 over the preceding 30 consecutive trading days.
The company said it has notified the NYSE of its intent to regain compliance and is considering available options. Under NYSE rules, Vertical Aerospace has a six-month cure period during which it can regain compliance if, on the last trading day of any calendar month within that period, its ordinary shares close at or above $1.00 and maintain an average closing price of at least $1.00 over the preceding 30 trading days.
The NYSE notice does not have an immediate effect on the listing of Vertical Aerospace's ordinary shares, and the company said it does not anticipate any impact on its ongoing business operations. The shares will continue to trade on the NYSE, subject to compliance with other continued listing requirements.
