CECO Environmental Corp. (Nasdaq: CECO) announced that its board of directors has approved the transfer of its primary stock listing from the Nasdaq Global Select Market to the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE), with trading expected to begin on TXSE on October 19, 2026.
According to a press release, the company's common stock is expected to cease trading on Nasdaq at market close on October 16, 2026. The stock will retain its existing ticker symbol "CECO" and its current CUSIP number under the new listing.
The company said the transfer is not expected to affect its operations, financial condition, reporting obligations, or stockholders' rights, and that no action is required from stockholders.
CECO, headquartered in Addison, Texas, claimed it would be the first multi-industrial company to transfer its primary listing to the Texas Stock Exchange. TXSE Chairman and CEO James H. Lee described CECO as the first industrial company to place its primary listing on the exchange.
Todd Gleason, CECO's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, said in the statement: "By becoming the first multi-industrial company to transfer its primary listing to the Texas Stock Exchange, we are aligning with a well-capitalized, leading technology platform that introduces a new era of competitive growth in U.S. capital markets."
The Addison, Texas-based company cited its existing presence in the state, including its global headquarters and a significant employee base, as factors in the decision. CECO was incorporated in 1966 and operates across industrial air, industrial water, and energy transition markets globally.
