KULR Technology Group (NYSE American: KULR) announced it has received more than $1 million in production purchase orders for battery systems supporting the U.S. Department of War's Drone Dominance Program, according to a company press release.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2026, with all shipments expected to be completed by the end of November 2026. The Drone Dominance Program is described as a $1.1 billion, multi-phase initiative focused on the procurement and fielding of small unmanned aerial systems.
The orders will be fulfilled through KULR's Forge 2 manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, which the company says increases its capacity to supply battery systems for defense drones and other autonomous platforms. KULR states its battery systems are designed to meet National Defense Authorization Act compliance requirements ahead of a 2027 deadline.
"These purchase orders mark another meaningful step in KULR's expansion within the defense drone market," said Michael Mo, Chief Executive Officer of KULR Technology Group. "Our focus is execution — building and delivering advanced battery systems at the volumes our customers require."
KULR is based in Webster, Texas, and designs and manufactures battery systems for defense, space, drone, and other applications.
