McKesson Corporation (NYSE: MCK) has signed an agreement in principle to extend its pharmaceutical distribution partnership with CVS Health through June 2032, covering mail order and specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies, and distribution centers.
Brian Tyler, chair and chief executive officer of McKesson, said in a statement: "We are pleased to extend our long-standing, strategic relationship with CVS Health and continue supporting their important role in serving patients and communities across the country."
McKesson also reaffirmed its fiscal year 2027 adjusted earnings per share guidance of $44.20 to $45.00, along with a long-term adjusted EPS growth rate of 13% to 16%. The company said it will provide further updates during its second quarter fiscal 2027 earnings call on Nov. 4, 2026.
The company noted that the announcement involves an agreement in principle, and that risks remain, including potential delays in signing a definitive contract and the possibility that the parties may not finalize the agreement.
