CompoSecure opens London design centre for metal card clients

October 1, 2026 5:54 AM EDT

CompoSecure, a subsidiary of GPGI (NYSE: GPGI), opened a Design Centre in central London on Oct. 1, 2026, aimed at serving banks, fintechs, and card program partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The facility, located in a restored industrial building near Tower Bridge along the Thames, allows clients to work directly with CompoSecure's design, metal, and engineering teams. Visitors can review card designs, finishes, textures, laser engraving options, and embedded features, moving from concept to specification during in-person sessions.

"The most successful card programs come from building a vision together with our clients, and that's much easier when you're in the same room," said Ian Snadden, Chief Commercial Officer, International, at CompoSecure. "Cards are used by consumers every day; they have become the primary embodiment of the bank's brand, so issuers need to see and feel the possibilities."

Scott Lucas, Co-Founder and President of Monavate, a card program partner, referenced past collaboration with CompoSecure, including work on the MetaMask metal card. "We participated in design sessions in the U.S. headquarters and are looking forward to working with their experts in the London Design Centre, as we look to launch several new programs in Europe and the Middle East region," Lucas said.

According to the company, international issuers previously had to work remotely with CompoSecure's U.S.-based teams. The London location is intended to reduce that distance for clients in the targeted regions.
