AIB Data Centers Inc. (NYSE American: AIB) has entered into a binding agreement with Nebius (Nasdaq: NBIS) for 50 MW of critical IT capacity at an AIB facility in the southeastern United States, according to a press release dated Sept. 30, 2026.
The initial contract term spans 12 years. Customer prepayments under the agreement, combined with project-level debt and preferred equity, are expected to fund a substantial portion of the initial development costs, reducing AIB's need for corporate-level common equity.
AIB plans to deliver the contracted capacity across two data halls. The project is supported by a previously announced 15-year Electric Service Agreement covering 65 MW of utility load at the site, which AIB said requires no significant additional electrical infrastructure upgrades.
"Time-to-power is the binding constraint on AI infrastructure today, and AIB's existing power position gave us a clear path to bringing this capacity online on a timeline that works for our customers," said Andrey Korolenko, Chief Product and Infrastructure Officer at Nebius. "This agreement adds dedicated capacity in the southeastern United States for training and inference workloads."
The deal follows a strategic acquisition in Texas that brought AIB's total contracted power capacity to approximately 120 MW. AIB Chief Executive Officer Jerry Tang said the company's focus is now on execution and delivering capacity on schedule.
