Immutep Limited (NASDAQ: IMMP) received an A$856,669 cash rebate from the Australian Federal Government's R&D tax incentive program, the company announced. The rebate relates to eligible R&D expenditure incurred during the 2025 fiscal year.
The payment followed approval from AusIndustry of Immutep's application for an Advance overseas finding, which allowed certain overseas R&D activities to qualify for the incentive alongside the company's eligible Australian activities.
Immutep also receives the French CIR tax incentive through its subsidiary Immutep S.A.S. for eligible R&D activities conducted in the European Union. The company's German subsidiary, Immutep GmbH, received its first payment under Germany's Forschungszulage R&D tax incentive program in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2026, with potential future payments subject to the statutory application and review process.
The company said it will apply the funding toward R&D activities for its product candidates, efti and IMP761. Immutep stated its expected cash reach extends into the first half of calendar year 2028.
