Nasdaq grants Evogene a second 180-day window to meet $1 bid rule

September 30, 2026 7:16 AM EDT

Evogene Ltd. (NASDAQ: EVGN) has received an additional 180-day period, until March 29, 2027, to regain compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement, according to a statement from the company.

Nasdaq notified Evogene on March 30, 2026, that its ordinary shares had traded below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive business days, placing the company in violation of Nasdaq Rule 5550(a)(2). The company was given an initial 180-day period, expiring September 28, 2026, to resolve the issue but did not regain compliance within that timeframe.

Under the extended period, Evogene will regain compliance if its closing bid price reaches at least $1.00 for a minimum of ten consecutive business days. If the company fails to meet this requirement by March 29, 2027, Nasdaq has indicated it will issue a written notification of delisting.

The company stated that Nasdaq listing compliance remains a priority and that it may consider a reverse share split or other measures if the share price does not recover within the extended period.

The Nasdaq notice does not affect the current trading of Evogene's shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "EVGN," nor does it affect its listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, where shares also trade under "EVGN."
