Infosys (NYSE: INFY) and ABN AMRO Bank have extended their existing collaboration, with Infosys set to provide application development, testing, and support services to modernize the Dutch bank's IT systems, according to a press release issued Sept. 30, 2026.
Under the renewed agreement, Infosys will use its Topaz platform, which incorporates generative and agentic AI technologies, to expand AI adoption across ABN AMRO's technology operations. The work is aimed at streamlining platforms, improving the delivery of digital services, and reducing operating costs.
Carsten Bittner, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer at ABN AMRO Bank, said the renewed collaboration would "help further to simplify and modernize our IT landscape, while accelerating the responsible adoption of AI across the company," adding that the engagement would "help reduce complexity and operating costs."
Jay Nair, Executive Vice President and Industry Head for Financial Services and Public Sector at Infosys, said the renewal "marks an important milestone" in the companies' relationship and that Infosys would focus on re-architecting core systems and operationalizing AI "with precision, efficiency, and long-term sustainability for the bank."
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Infosys is listed on the NSE, BSE, and NYSE under the ticker INFY.
