Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID) announced the release of Air UX 3.0, a software update for the Lucid Air electric vehicle, on Sept. 29, 2026.
The update, delivered as part of Software Version 2.11.0, is available via over-the-air download for model year 2025 and newer Lucid Air vehicles. Owners of model year 2022, 2023, and some 2024 vehicles can access the update through a hardware upgrade to the infotainment processor, priced at $950 in the United States, including installation and excluding applicable taxes.
Air UX 3.0 introduces a redesigned interface on the Left Cockpit Panel featuring swipeable cards for media, vehicle controls, calls, and navigation. A new Quick Controls feature allows drivers to swipe down from the top of the Pilot Panel to access frequently used settings. The update also includes faster profile switching, PIN-protected Guest profile management, and six-digit PIN authentication.
Navigation features include a dual-screen experience with Favorites and Auto Dark Mode. EV routing options allow drivers to filter by preferred charging networks, adapter compatibility, and minimum range upon arrival.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are expanded to cover the full right side of the Cockpit Display. Both wireless and USB connections are supported.
"The Air UX 3.0 update reflects our commitment to the continuous improvement of the customer experience," said Marc Solsona Palomar, VP of Software at Lucid. "Lucid Air owners will enjoy more reliable and intuitive experiences as the Air update brings the latest advances to their vehicles."
Lucid said pricing for the hardware upgrade in markets outside the United States will be available at a later date. Owners can contact Lucid Customer Care for eligibility and availability information.
