September 29, 2026 1:34 PM EDT

NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) announced it will present the NFL with its Customer Social Impact Award at INSIGHT 2026, recognizing the league's Inspire Change initiative, which has supported workforce development programs since 2017.

Alongside the award, NetApp announced a philanthropic partnership with Per Scholas, an organization that has received NFL Inspire Change grants since 2020. NetApp will provide a grant to Per Scholas to support its Cybersecurity with AI Tools training program, which offers zero-tuition instruction to people from historically underrepresented communities.

"Through Inspire Change, the NFL is committed to using our platform to help remove barriers and create meaningful opportunities in communities across the country," said Anna Isaacson, Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility at the NFL. "We're thrilled that a partner like NetApp can further expand that access for Per Scholas learners, especially for the in-demand skills that can open doors to long-term careers and economic advancement."

Per Scholas, founded in 1995, has provided no-cost training to more than 35,000 professionals and operates across 25 or more campuses. The new program will combine cybersecurity fundamentals with practical AI tools training.

"This partnership with NetApp will help more learners build the technical skills, professional judgment and confidence they need to launch careers in cybersecurity and AI," said Caitlyn Brazill, President of Per Scholas.

The NFL's Inspire Change initiative has directed $300 million to more than 40 national grant partners and more than 600 grassroots organizations since 2017, focusing on education, economic advancement, police-community relations, and criminal justice reform.

The award will be presented at NetApp INSIGHT 2026. The grant amount was not disclosed in the announcement.
