Maverick Gold appoints VP of marketing, adds AI investor platform
Maverick Gold and Silver Corp. (CSE: MAV) (FSE: VR61) (OTC Pink: VRCFF) has appointed Michelle Suzuki as Vice President of Marketing and Communications and deployed an AI-powered investor relations platform on its corporate website, according to a company statement.
Suzuki brings more than 25 years of experience in capital markets and public company communications. She previously served as Director of Capital Markets at Stockhouse Publishing for over two decades before founding Wailea Capital Advisory in 2021. In her new role, she will oversee corporate communications, marketing strategy, digital presence and shareholder communications as the company advances exploration projects in Nevada and British Columbia.
The company has engaged Wailea Capital Advisory, a firm controlled by Suzuki, to provide communications and investor relations services at C$5,000 per month under a 12-month agreement that began September 15, 2026. Neither Wailea nor Suzuki currently holds securities in the company.
Separately, Maverick has deployed a platform from SmarterIR Technologies Inc., which provides investors access to company-approved public disclosure materials including regulatory filings, news releases, technical reports and financial information. The platform also provides management with data on investor inquiries. The agreement, which began September 1, 2026, carries a 12-month initial term at C$250 per month plus a one-time onboarding fee of C$5,000. No company securities are being issued as compensation.
Glen Watson, President and CEO, said the SmarterIR platform gives investors "an easier way to access and understand our publicly disclosed information while helping us better understand the questions and topics that matter most to our shareholders."
Maverick is an exploration-stage company focused on gold, silver and copper properties in Nevada and British Columbia.
