Iovance shares jump in premarket as raised outlook clears consensus views

September 29, 2026 9:11 AM EDT

Investing.com -- Shares of Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: IOVA) surged more than 14% in premarket trading Tuesday after the commercial-stage biotechnology company raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook well above Wall Street expectations. Strong domestic adoption of its flagship tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte therapy, Amtagvi, alongside sustained sales of Proleukin, prompted management to boost its top-line target to between $410 million and $420 million.

The updated forecast represents a $55 million increase at the midpoint from the prior guidance range of $350 million to $370 million, reflecting nearly 60% annual revenue growth. Crucially, the revised midpoint of $415 million clears the consensus analyst estimate of $402.8 million, signaling accelerating commercial momentum for the oncology specialist.

The guidance hike completes a comprehensive financial review initiated alongside second-quarter results, which delivered record product revenue of $99.3 million. Management attributed the heightened visibility for the second half of the year to robust patient demand and a well-aligned manufacturing schedule.

To support this trajectory, Iovance has continued expanding its commercial infrastructure, expanding its authorized treatment center network to approximately 100 locations. The company remains on track to reach at least 110 authorized centers by the end of 2026, widening patient access to its one-time cell therapy for advanced melanoma.

Beyond immediate commercial execution, operational efficiencies and ongoing manufacturing refinements are accelerating the company's timeline toward profitability. Meanwhile, lifileucel continues to advance through clinical trials aimed at securing regulatory approvals across additional solid tumor indications.

Investors will receive further operational updates when Iovance reports its full third-quarter financial results in early November.
