10x Genomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: TXG) announced Sentira, a cloud-based analysis platform designed to process spatial biology data, with the first offering called Sentira Spatial Analysis built using Nvidia accelerated computing technology.
According to a company press release, Sentira Spatial Analysis uses GPU acceleration to reduce spatial data processing times from hours to minutes. The platform integrates rapids-singlecell, a tool co-developed by scverse and Nvidia, which brings GPU acceleration to biological analysis methods.
Sentira Spatial Analysis is currently available at no cost through an Early Access program for researchers using either the Xenium or Atera instruments. The platform is expected to launch commercially in early 2027 as a paid service, with consumption-based credit pricing and planned enterprise subscription options. Additional pricing details are to be shared at launch.
Filip Defoort, Senior Vice President of Software at 10x Genomics, said the platform aims to give scientists "a faster, more direct path from the questions they ask to the discoveries that follow."
Rory Kelleher, Senior Director of Global Business Development for Life Sciences at Nvidia, said the combination of Nvidia accelerated computing with 10x Genomics' spatial data capabilities can "reduce core analysis cycles from hours to minutes."
10x Genomics also announced that its Atera instrument began shipping to customers on the same date as the Sentira announcement. The company said Sentira Spatial will expand with new capabilities over time, including multi-sample analysis to support larger spatial studies.
