Cboe Global Markets (Cboe: CBOE) has provided additional financial details following its announcement of a 25-year extension of its exclusive licensing agreement with S&P Dow Jones Indices, continuing the partnership through 2051.
According to a press release, the extended agreement will not affect 2026 royalty fee terms. Updated royalty fee terms will take effect in 2027, which Cboe estimates will have a de minimis impact on its 2027 net revenue growth when weighed against organic and ecosystem-driven volume growth, pricing optimization opportunities, and continued business execution.
Cboe stated that future royalty fee adjustments beyond 2027 are expected to be smaller than the 2027 reset. The company said it will provide more specific 2027 organic total net revenue guidance in February alongside its fourth-quarter earnings report.
Cboe said it will file additional information in a current report on Form 8-K with the SEC.
